The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales of company products and promotional programs within the West Coast territory. Leveraging a strategic and disciplined sales approach, the Regional Sales Manager will identify and define opportunities, build trust and confidence with clients, and present tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional focused on meeting and exceeding sales targets to grow their territory. The Regional Sales Manager will work as part of a team, following all company policies and procedures while driving sales success.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Grow the business through direct sales and distributors by providing training, strategic planning, plan deployment, and follow-up. Increase sales and expand into new and existing accounts by leveraging contacts, relationships, and the company's products and capabilities. Build strong, deep-rooted relationships at all levels. Identify effective methods to penetrate new and existing accounts and maintain long-term business relationships. Actively participate in and thoroughly understand the company's sales strategy, implementing it successfully within the assigned territory. Contribute to developing and implementing ongoing educational and training programs to ensure customers and distributors have strong product knowledge. Train distributor sales personnel and packaging and equipment specialists according to company policies, goals, and coursework. Proactively participate in writing accurate order specifications and submit them promptly to ensure timely project completion that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Understand the internal paperwork process for each sale and educate customers and distributors on the importance of timely document return to keep projects on schedule. Work positively and proactively with various support teams within nVenia to ensure the best possible customer response when issues arise. Extensive travel is required to cover the West Coast region. (50% to 75% travel)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

5 year’s of experience related to capital equipment selling experience Proven track record of sales growth year over year Formal sales training programs (i.e. consultative selling techniques) BA or BS or related experience Knowledge of packaging equipment preferred Proficient in the use of PC’s, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
