Mission
We are looking for a seasoned Regional Security Manager to join our team and help build out our corporate security function. The Regional Security Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security programs across the company's European and Asian offices. This role ensures the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets while maintaining operational efficiency. This individual will partner closely with the HR, Legal, Facilities, and Corp Operations teams to ensure that the employee safety and security is underpinning the business at all times.
Key ResponsibilitiesPhysical Security Operations:
Oversee and enhance physical security measures across regional offices Manage security vendor relationships and contracts Conduct regular security assessments of facilities and implement improvements Develop and maintain access control protocols and visitor management systemsPersonnel Security & Travel Safety:
Create and implement employee security awareness programs Establish travel security protocols and provide pre-trip security briefings Monitor regional security situations that may impact employee travelCrisis Management:
Develop and maintain regional crisis management and business continuity plans Establish emergency communication protocols Conduct regular crisis management drills and tabletop exercisesProgram Development:
Design and implement regional security policies and procedures Create security training programs for employees and security staff Develop security metrics and reporting systemsLeadership & Communication:
Supervise local security teams and contractors Collaborate with other departments (HR, Legal, Facilities, IT) Build relationships with local law enforcement and security partners Business Impact Drive organizational resilience by establishing robust security programs across multiple countries in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Enhance employee safety and confidence through proactive security measures and rapid incident response Reduce security incidents and associated costs through preventive programs and risk mitigation Ensure business continuity by developing and maintaining effective crisis management capabilities Build strong relationships with local authorities and security partners to support company operations Enable business growth by providing security expertise for new office locations and expanding operationsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field Professional security certifications (CPP, PSP, or equivalent) Military or law enforcement background Experience in multinational corporate environments Knowledge of local security regulations in key European and Asian marketsAbout Databricks
