Working in the Finance Team, you will be responsible for the optimization of certain procurement areas and general procurement. Your key objectives will be to ensure we have effective supply units and processes in place to meet the needs of our growing business whilst ensuring employee satisfaction and positive contribution to sustainable value creation. You will directly manage the relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a business partner. You will stay close to the market and act as a trusted advisor that generates value for Hilti.

What does the role involve? As Regional Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement cycle for the North Asia hub office. You will also be involved in implementing procurement strategies for different categories (e.g. travel, car fleet, marketing, IT, facility, HR etc.) for 5 markets in North Asia (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea).
Leading end-to-end sourcing processes, from market research, RFP preparation, financial analysis, negotiation and evaluation to contracting. Ensure compliance with contracts, procurement policies, processes and procedures whilst driving commercial effectiveness and strong business ethics. Value creation through business partnering for cost optimization and process improvement. Drive changes and actively engage with internal and external stakeholders. Support the Regional Head of Procurement in implementing medium & long-term strategies, including data extraction and analysis for different categories.

What you need is:Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance or related discipline. 4-5 years of experience in corporate purchasing / indirect procurement, strategic sourcing and project management. Strong negotiation and communication skills to build relationships as a business partner. An excellent team player who is attentive to details, demonstrates a proactive and organized way of working, with eagerness to learn and develop. Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Solid knowledge of MS Office and Excel. Less experienced candidates will be considered as Regional Procurement Specialist.
