The Regional Service Manager (f/m/d) will oversee and inspire a workforce with direct service teams in Central Germany. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of Customer Service Engineer, Application Specialists and IT Specialists. The Regional Service Manager will have responsibility to supervise service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. Diagnoses system failures and determines most cost-effective solution. S/he will escalate complex issues to greater level of technical support or quality reporting system. May develop new customer service/product agreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory. S/he will drive results through exceptional leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for:

Leading, managing, motivating and developing subordinate employeesMaintaining, optimizing and improving service KPIs in the central service regionResponsible for the implementation of device installationsCollaboration in the implementation of more complex large-scale automation projectsEnsuring a high level of customer satisfaction in the regionClose cooperation with the cross-functional teams (Sales/Workflow IT)Collaboration in the realization of service projects (national / international)Interface with local and regional support function teams including sales, marketing, logistics and distribution, human resources, IT, and finance.

Commercial and Market-facing:

Advocate for the customer for product quality and for providing excellent customer solutions.Build brand awareness and preference for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics products.Ensure strong understanding of the marketplace dynamics including competitive and customer trends.Represent the organization in customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and other official occasions.

The essential requirements of the job include Walking into the position, Regional Service Manager will be joining a dynamic team who share a passion for competing through an entrepreneurial approach. The individual will oversee an established, successful group of seasoned and knowledgeable service professionals. It will be incumbent upon him/her to contribute to immediate and effective relations through interactive communication, exchanging ideas and fostering an environment of teamwork and mutual respect.

Technical vocational training or technical college education and many years of professional experienceExperience in employee management and excellent team playerGood technical knowledgeHigh level of customer orientation and strong service mentality as well as persuasiveness and motivationSubstantial experience within a complex service organization in a high technology and medical product/service sector.Language skills: German and EnglishTravel: 70%
