About the Role:

Are you an experienced leader in facilities management with a passion for operational excellence? BGIS is seeking a Regional Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and operational delivery of services across allocated regional states. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards in service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contract interface with Qantas, ensuring the seamless delivery and performance of operational services within the region. Provide leadership and managerial oversight of operational staff, including Soft Services and Self-Perform Technical Trades. Act as the escalation point for regional stakeholders, ensuring effective issue resolution. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key Qantas stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication. Implement best-in-class operational management services, driving efficiency and excellence. Lead financial planning, performance management, risk management, benchmarking, and reporting. Contribute to the annual Asset Management Strategy and Asset Management Plan. Drive innovation and share best practices across the portfolio. Uphold a proactive and positive leadership approach, fostering a cohesive working environment.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in an integrated services and property model, delivering Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, and Financial Management services. Strong business acumen with expertise in business planning and financial management. Demonstrated experience in relationship management with external clients and contractors. In-depth understanding of current technical legislation related to Facilities Maintenance Management. Experience in managing subcontractor service delivery. Knowledge of QA, OH&S, and environmental systems. Proficiency in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

 

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Property, Commerce, Business, or a related field. Industry-recognized qualification in Building/Facilities Management or related discipline. Training in OH&S, QA, and environmental legislation and systems. Facilities Maintenance Management, Project Management, and/or Property Management certifications.
