Teach one of the following summer school courses: + Grade 6: Math Clinic + Grade 7: Math Clinic + Grade 8: Math Clinic Program Dates: + July 10, Staff only, seven (7) hours + July 14 - August 5, four and a half (4.5) hours per day (no school 7/11, 7/18. 7/25, 8/1) + August 6, five (5) hours, administering & grading of final assessments + Must be able to work all dates TYPICAL DUTIES: + Plan and teach lessons daily. + Teach to NYS Next Generation Learning Standards. + Assess student performance and complete progress report. + Bring own non-consumable materials such as books from home school, stapler, ruler, non-consumable desk supplies. BOCES 2 will provide consumable paper, and dry erase supplies. + Classroom management, including home contact. + Prepare program evaluation report for districts at conclusion of program. + Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Regional Summer School site principal. Job Qualifications Experience: Previous middle school teaching experience preferred. Educational: Appropriate NYS Teacher Certification required.
