Support ELL students in Regional Summer School in collaboration with content area teachers. Program Dates: + July 2 & 3, seven (7) hours per day + July 10, Staff only, seven (7) hours + July 14- August 18, four (4) hours per day (no school 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1) + August 19 & 20 seven (7) hours per day, proctoring and scoring exams + August 21, hourly, as determined by summer school principal + Must be able to work all dates TYPICAL DUTIES: + Modify lessons for ELL students in collaboration with content teacher. + Work with teachers to understand the needs of ELL students. + Collaborate with administration to create optimal student schedules. + Provide necessary test accommodations for assessments. + Collaborate with testing coordinator and home schools to identify interpreters for exams. + Establish and maintain home contact with families with limited, or no English-speaking ability. + Perform other such duties as may be assigned by the Regional Summer School site principal.
