Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and administer various training programs including recurrent and new store trainingCollaborate with stakeholders to enhance Maverik’s learning toolbox by contributing to design and development of new training programs, materials and processesDeliver and oversee employee instruction including, enrollment, scheduling and preparation of instructional material aids and manuals, and facilitate instructor-led and web-based trainingProactively anticipate and mitigate challenges within company training programs before they ariseSupport internal communications to share progress on the learning and development initiatives, creating strategies to drive their useEvaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback, recommending content edits to ensure delivery of learning objectivesMaintain knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development, sharing ideas to increase learner engagement and effectively deliver key learning objectivesOccasional weekend /evening work requiredUp to 50% travel required as neededAdditional responsibilities as assignedQualifications: Education
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.Qualifications: Experience
5 + years of demonstrated training success requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Qualifications: Individual Contributor Competencies
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skillsPractice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or directionProven ability to effectively prioritize and balance compelling needsA history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problemsExperience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-makingDuties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
