Job DescriptionNorco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Regional Vice President position. The Regional Vice President acts as the operations officer responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the day-to-day and long term activities of their respective region within Norco, Inc. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist stores in meeting their profit, receivables, inventory, and sales goalsPromote operational excellence by ensuring all procedures and processes that pertain to the local business are adhered to Serves as primary contact with stores, with an emphasis to continue sales management within the storesIdentify training needs in storesAssist stores in hiring, discipline, and terminating staffAssist store in budgeting and capital expensesOversee profit exception and open order reports, along with other key performance metricsHave a thorough understanding of Industrial and/or Medical store operations and how to integrate as needed as it applies to the RegionMentor Store Managers and other employees in the RegionTrack attendance, punctuality, and vacation time of Store ManagersPerform Performance Reviews of Store ManagersEnforce company policiesReview and approve call sheets or CRM logs for all sales reps within the regionCollaborate with Executive Management team to develop, plan, and implement strategic initiatives that support the overall operational and financial success of the companyPerform other tasks as assigned or necessaryQualificationsA minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in management with considerable knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations, and standards for a welding and supply distributorBachelors degree in Business or related industry to Norco, MBA a plusKnowledge of management practices and evaluation techniquesAbility to effectively supervise and manage personnelAbility to accurately enter data into computer systems and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the positionAbility to keep sensitive material confidentialAbility to make decisions quickly using good judgementAbility to be self-motivated and directed with little or no supervisionAbility to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (i.e. processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, etc.)Ability to sit for extended periods of timeAdditional InformationNorco offers a competitive compensation/benefit package, including:
