As a Regional Vice President (RVP) in Individual Life Insurance, you will be part of Prudential’s expanding Independent Distribution Channel. You will increase the sale of Prudential’s life insurance products through brokerage general agencies and independent producer relationships in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah & Alaska.

What you can expect:Meet or exceed sales results within assigned territory through brokerage general agencies (BGA) and independent producersPartner effectively with Strategic Relationship Management and other internal business units to develop and execute individual sales plans with selected distribution partnersMeet or exceed activity requirements deemed necessary to achieve sales goalsDemonstrate a thorough knowledge of Prudential's products, services and programs and effectively use knowledge to compete and win in the marketplaceIdentify and recruit producers within assigned territoryProvide initial and on-going training to BGA and individual producers within the territory on the use of Prudential’s products and servicesPractice effective compliance, recordkeeping and expense managementAbility to operate in regulated business environment

What you’ll need:FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 requiredExcellent presentation skills (overall) including basic sales, communication skills (written and verbal), and sales training skills (preferred)Knowledge and experience with Advanced Markets concepts, presentations, and case designs.Knowledge of Life Insurance Products Specifically Universal Life, Variable Life, Survivorship, Term, including Guaranteed products and riders. This would include general product competitiveness within each product and marketProficient time  and territory management skills, negotiation skills and ability to influence others - assertiveness is critical.

It would be a plus if you had:

Two years plus experience in marketing or selling life insurance in the BGA and Independent Producer space.Leadership skills to direct and motivate others toward the achievement of objectives.Ability to understand, develop, and apply management information reporting to find opportunities, support planning, and further deeper relationships with current and prospective business partners.
