Registered Behavior Tech - Full Time
BCBA on site Potential for practicum supervision Potential tuition assistance Center based Pediatric population Full time, 36 hours per week Benefit eligible on day one Education opportunities with other disciplines including physicians, occupational therapists, speech language therapists, and physical therapists Bi-monthly RBT meetings with BCBA Bi-monthly department meetings with department leadership Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, speech and hearing services, child and human development, or related field. Certification: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or obtain certification within 90 days of start date. If obtaining a RBT certification within 90-days of start date, must complete and obtain completion certificate for Autism Partnership's 40-hour RBT Training Course prior to start date. Experience: Foundational knowledge of child development and applied behavior analysis (ABA), and at least 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities and/or children. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Pursuing a master's degree in ABA. Experience: Skilled in utilizing de-escalation strategies with patients, has experience with Verbal Behavior and Natural Environment Teaching, is proficient with online data collection systems. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of positions and postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, twisting, turning, bending, stooping, reaching overhead) for extended periods of time. • Must be willing and able to implement crisis intervention strategies for patients after training. • Must be able to utilize quick body movements while working with patients. • Ability to lift or move approximately 50 lbs. Overview: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), under the general direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), will implement treatment plans for children with autism and other related disorders. They will maintain regular communication with their supervising BCBA and team.
