Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the RN with blood draws and lab testing for patients. You will be responsible for recording patient data numbers to ensure precise tracking and maintaining medical records with appropriate and timely documentation. Your duties will also include phlebotomy, peripheral blood draws, and appointment scheduling.

ResponsibilitiesAssist the RN with blood draws and lab testing for patients.Record patient data numbers to ensure precise tracking.Maintain medical records with appropriate and timely documentation.Perform phlebotomy and peripheral blood draws.Schedule appointments for patients.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.2-3 years of phlebotomy experience, well versed in all peripheral blood draws.Experience with EKGs.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy certificationRMA certificationWork Environment

You will work evening shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Thursday. Fridays are optional, your shift will be from 9 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 3 PM. You will manage around 13-14 patients per day, with a focus on treatment trials and extensive documentation.
