Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast paced- and-friendly financial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Help to establish a new satellite office in Inverness. Network with local businesses.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a marketing plan to meet client acquisition goals:

Contact prospects to set up meetings and appointments

Coordinate seminars and client appreciation events.

Prepare for and coordinate marketing events which includes creating marketing compliance documentation and managing event marketing reimbursement, attending marketing events.

Implement key marketing activities including:

Advisor website

Social Media

Client and prospect contact

Networking

Seminars and events

Local advertising and media relations

Assist the Franchise Advisor and Associate Financial Advisors in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions.

Client Care:

Maintain client management system (i.e. Contact Manager)

Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy.

Prepare and ensure new business paperwork successfully submitted which includes preparing forms, obtain appropriate signatures, prepare documentation to send to home office, track new insurance applications.

Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisors phone, processing expense management reports, prepare routine client correspondence.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

1-3 years Relevant Experience Required

Securities Licensing or Willing to Obtain (SIE, Series 7, 66 or Life/Annuity)

Experience working in a client service environment.

Detail orientated, strong math, and analytical skills. Good organization and time management skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities and prioritizes effectively. Able to independently work with minimal supervision.

Able to communicate with all levels within the organization. Process oriented and can work with a team.

Strong computer and software skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and bonus. This is a full-time position, compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview.
