Job Concepts Function of Work: To provide nutritional care in health and disease in routine situations. Level of Work: Entry. Supervision Received: Close from a Registered Dietitian. Supervision Exercised: May exercise direct line over paraprofessional and non- professional dietary personnel. Location of Work: Twenty-four hour facilities statewide. Job Distinctions: Differs from a Dietetic Technician by performance of professional level dietetic duties. Differs from Registered Dietitian by lack of professional registration.
