Job Description:
Assess nutritional needs of radiation and chemotherapy out. Provide counseling to patients on managing nutrition-related side effects of oncology treatment and importance of nutrition in relation to cancer.
Provide appropriate recommendations to optimize nutritional status of patients.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree with major in food and nutrition required, or higher.
Completion of internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Registered Dietitian or registry eligible (registry eligible will be on probation until registered) required.
Licensed Dietitian required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) credentialing preferred.
