 Location: Float Position- Mease Dunedin and Mease Countryside 

Status: Full Time | Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekend Work: Occasional

Position Overview

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals, or groups. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting nutrition assessments and counseling for disease management, treatment, and prevention.Evaluating nutritional status, making recommendations, and implementing nutrition interventions.Maintaining required licensure, including Registered Dietitian (CDR) and Florida state licensure, or obtaining national registration and state licensure within 12 months of employment.

Note: Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for individuals not initially credentialed by December 31, 2023. Acceptable degrees include a master’s degree, practice doctorate, PhD, EdD, or DSc.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required.Master’s degree required if not initially credentialed by December 31, 2023.

Licensure & Certification:

On Call: No

Remote Work: Hybrid- This is a float position. 2 days will be at Mease Dunedin Hospital and 3 days will be at Mease Countryside Hospital.
