Job Description Summary:

Join the Logan Health team! We're seeking an experienced Registered or Certified Medical Assistant for our Primary Care clinic at 705 6th Avenue in Kalispell, Montana.

Required: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or (CMA) Certified Medical Assistant Credential.

Preferred:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical practice.Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.Medical office experience and medical terminology training.Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, lab values, and pharmacology.Familiarity with medical equipment, safety hazards, patient rights, and infection control.Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for exams and treatments.Obtain and record patient history and vital signs.Collect and prepare lab specimens.Assist physicians and clinicians during procedures and exams.Perform minor procedures (e.g., suture removal, dressing changes).Clean and disinfect equipment.Schedule appointments and assist with referrals.Collect patient information and co-payments.Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
