JOB SUMMARY
The Cath Lab Holding (CLH) Registered Nurse specializes in providing care to patients before and after cardiac catheterization procedures and supports non-invasive Cardiology testing as needed. These healthcare professionals play a crucial role in preparing patients for catheterization and providing post-procedure care. CLH RNs work in collaboration with cardiologists and cardiac cath lab staff to ensure safe and effective procedures and optimal patient outcomes. Cares for Adult and Geriatric patient populations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: See Licenses and Certifications.
Experience: 2 years experience in acute care, critical care or cath lab nursing preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers. Has patient assessment knowledge and ability.
License/Certifications: Current nursing license, state of California, AHA (American Heart Association) BLS & ACLS.
Equipment: Basic knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. General knowledge of unit specific equipment.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical job requirements.
PAY RANGE
$46.50 - $70.09
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
