Role requires RN to be proficient in telemetry and rhythm management. This requires the ability to analyze rhythm device data and recognize the need for, and subsequently integrate, nursing interventions within the clinical context of the device clinic. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports. 2. Perform Pacemaker and ICD device checks in the Pacemaker center. Assist with general nursing care as needed in the Center 4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions. 5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. 6. Records patient vital signs and medical information. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required: 1. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. 2. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. 3. BLS certification 4. Previous experience with cardiac patients. Previous experience with Arrhythmias, Pacemaker & ICD Devices Preferred: 1. Bachelor’s degree in nursing. a. All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date. 2. Master’s degree in nursing or related field. 3. 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area. 4. ACLS certification.
