The Vascular RN is responsible for coordinating care delivery within the procedural setting.  Must demonstrate strong communication skills, work well in a multi-disciplinary setting and be a strong patient advocate. 

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Performs as the Primary procedural RN for IR and vascular procedures.   
2. Maintains accurate and complete procedural documentation.  
3. Responds to the needs of the procedural care team including but not limited to, gathering of resources, supplies, equipment, and medications.                                                               4. Maintains sterile vigilance and supports all team members in this endeavor. 
5. Works in conjunction with the Radiology and OR teams and anesthesia providers to optimize efficiency.
6. Collaborates with all members of the Procedural Care team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care, to achieve best patient outcomes. 
7. Performs other related duties as assigned
