Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
2. Supports the bariatric surgery accreditation program through providing education, maintenance of policies and procedures, quality improvement projects and data collection.
3. Aids in maintenance of MBSAQIP data portal completion for each surgical case.
4. Develops and maintains relationships with surgeon offices and hospital surgical teams.
5. Understands and maintains adherence to the MBSAQIP accreditation standards.
6. Participates in triannual survey for reaccreditations.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
