What We Offer Schedule: PRN position, will be based on staffing needs. Hours will be 7:30A-4P. M-F, no call, no holidays, no weekends required. Department: Endoscopy suite, pre/post unit Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. Unit Info: 6 endoscopy rooms. This opening is the for pre/post team. What You'll Do Receive and monitor patients recovering from sedation/anesthesia according to unit standards and PACU-level monitoring as appropriate. Assess airway, breathing, circulation, pain, level of consciousness, nausea/vomiting, and procedure-related complications. Manage post-procedure interventions (oxygen therapy, fluid management, pain/nausea control). Document recovery milestones and complete discharge readiness evaluations. Provide clear discharge instructions, including medication guidance, activity restrictions, and signs/symptoms requiring medical attention. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
