General Summary
Performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to, using clinical acumen to identify opportunities in practice and staff development and competencies, support of entities across the organization, process- observation, supporting system objectives, patient outreach and chart review/audit, Review of literature to support evidence based practice across the system. Works in a team model within the scope of the defined project. The hours and locations will vary dependent on the project and are as necessary.
Work Schedule:
Full-time
Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed. Bell & Evans coverage may include evening and night shifts.

Comprehends the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to the reduction of errors through the reporting of actual or potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions. Identifies opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety. Participates in safety education programs and their root cause analyses as required.Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessments, safety, environmental and infection control standards.Maintains the cleanliness of work areas as required.Maintains professional growth and development, including licensure, required certifications, and child abuse clearances.Prepares and presents utilization data analysis as required.Responsible for the care and maintenance of clinical equipment and supplies.Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
