**Title: Registered Nurse, Triage in Bariatrics**
We are seeking a full-time, Triage Registered Nurse in our Bariatrics and General Surgery Outpatient Clinic at Loyola Medicine. If you are an RN with general surgery or inpatient Med/Surg experience this may be the position for you!
**Position Highlights:**
+ **Work/Life:** Hours: Day shifts- no weekends, holidays or on call!
+ **Clinical Expertise:** The Bariatrics program is designated by the American College of Surgeons as a Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
+ **Market Leadership:** The current accreditation is for Loyola University Medical Center with plans to expand to Gottlieb Memorial Hospital.

**What You Will Do:**
The Triage Nurse job responsibilities include patient triage, insurance submissions for surgery, patient post operative calls, coordinating hydration appointments and administering IV hydration, prior authorizations, and medication refills for the provider team.
**What You Will Need:**
+ 2-3 years of nursing experience; experience in outpatient surgical setting is beneficial.
+ A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - **BSN or ADN**
+ BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
+ Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
