UPMC Presbyterian, a Magnet designated hospital, is currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurses to support our Trauma Neurosurgery Unit 8G.

About the Unit: 

8G is a 23-bed progressive care unit caring for neurologic and neurosurgical patients.   We are a comprehensive stroke and trauma unit getting admissions for the step-down trauma/stroke patients. A section of our unit is also designated for seizure procedures. There is videotape monitoring of these patients by the EEG technicians.

The final job title and pay rate will be based on individual qualifications and candidate choice. Shifts/Hours: Our RNs work a rotating 12-hour schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor. 

Graduate Nurses must be eligible for State Board Licensure and successfully pass the examination before beginning this role OR ability to start with TPP and must obtain license within four months of beginning position.  Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary from the My Nursing Career Ladder based on their individual experience and education.
