12 South Adult Acute Care- Where Excellence Meets Learning & Growth:

30-bed acuity adaptable General Medicine Unit: We see a diverse patient population of both step-down and monitored patients including hepatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, post-surgical complications, transplant, pulmonary, infectious disease and others. High-Acuity Patients: Our nurses care for patients of all ages with a wide array of conditions and various levels of acuity. Dynamic Learning Environment: Our partnership with our medical teaching teams include daily multidisciplinary bedside rounds and collaboration with discharge planning. Fast-Paced Teamwork: Our Registered Nurses work rotation shifts including weekends and holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.
