The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing services across various settings, including residential care facilities, behavioral health programs, substance use disorder treatment programs, crisis centers, and outpatient clinics. In this role, you'll conduct assessments, coordinate care, manage medications, provide health education, and ensure the highest quality of patient care while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments utilizing advanced clinical competenceCoordinate patient care with treatment teams and healthcare providersAdminister medications and monitor compliance with state regulatory standardsCreate and implement action plans based on patients' physical and mental health needsProvide health education, disease prevention, and risk reduction guidanceMonitor patient health status and coordinate specialized medical care when neededOversee infection control and facility health protocolsManage medication inventories and coordinate with pharmaciesMonitor laboratory results and consult with healthcare providersDocument patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical recordsRespond professionally to medical emergencies and crisis situations

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse license in state of practiceMust be comfortable providing telehealth services

Required License/Certification (one of the following):

Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for FQHC positions

Additional Qualifications:

Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint checkValid driver's license with acceptable driving record and current auto insuranceStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populationsProficiency in electronic health records and computer applicationsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesDemonstrated crisis management and problem-solving skillsPhysical ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform sedentary workAbility to maintain confidentiality and professional boundariesFlexibility to adapt to changing environments while maintaining effectiveness
