+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION + The Staff Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients assigned to him/her and to direct others in patient care in the ICU / CCU /IMCU unit + + QUALIFICATIONS + Professional/Educational + Current Illinois Registered Nurse license. + Completion of cardiac arrhythmia recognition test. + Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). + Certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within one year of hire date. + DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. + Personal + Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. + Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. + Possesses the ability to work under pressure.
