Departmental Overview NRHS Imaging Services is a full-service Radiology department performing over 200,000 studies each year, including screening exams, diagnostic testing, and interventional procedures. We operate at 2 hospital-based locations, 2 free-standing Emergency Departments/Outpatient Centers, and two additional outpatient specialty locations. We serve four Emergency Departments, a wide variety of Inpatient units, and hundreds of outpatients throughout the day. This is an especially exciting time for our department as we move toward the unification of our primary care hospitals with a new and improved department and brand new state-of-the-art equipment for all modalities. Job Summary Job Summary RN essential functions include, but are not limited to: · Assessment/reassessment - Systematically assesses / reassesses the health care needs of individuals; appropriate for specific age groups and patient conditions. Involves patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate · Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes - Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare providers as appropriate. · Implementation and Coordination of Care - Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgement guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations and policy · Evaluation - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts and reach sound conclusions. · Evaluates discharge needs related to plan of care utilizing resources as needed. · Professional Practice Qualifications Education Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Experience Previous experience in healthcare field preferred. Licensure/Certification Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities New grads are required to complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required. Experience One year of experience as a registered nurse preferred. Experience in procedural areas preferred. Licensure/Certification Current Oklahoma or multi-state nursing license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current BLS/ALS is required to be maintained through re-training for the duration of employment (provided by NRHS). Compensation/Benefits $27.84-$45.46/hr depending on previous work experience.
