New Graduates
New registered nurse (RN) graduates benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. The program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment, and promotes professional development.
Ball Memorial’s adult surgical unit is a 25-bed unit specializes in the care of patients who are recovering from different surgeries (general, urological, bariatric) and medical overflow. Comprehensive Care putting the patient and their family first; addressing all elements of care medical, emotional, and spiritual. Driven by evidence-based practice to provide up to date care and pushing the field of nursing forward. Unit uses a team nursing model approach to caring for our diverse patient population

Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
