The Registered Nurse ASC is expected to work in a primary nursing area for the center. The Registered Nurse ASC is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations. He/she is also responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Qualifications Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One to two years relevant experience in obstetrics, postpartum, women’s care, or emergency services, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in appropriate state, required.
