Registered Nurse (BSN) OR training Program
Job Summary This Perioperative course and training program is designed to prepare BSN Registered Nurses to transition into the OR full time. Full time paid role with time split between OR and classroom, logging all cases. The first week of onsite hospital and staff development orientation will be followed by 10-12 weeks of Peri-op 101 course. Unit orientation lasts 6 months more. All students will work with their preceptors on assigned cases, meeting twice a week as a group. The final exam and practicum take place after the 10-12 week course.
