The Registered Nurse Building Supervisor provides support and direction to facility staff, ensuring 24-hour care is delivered per facility standards to assist each resident in achieving and maintaining their highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.

Primary Responsibilities
Monitor nursing unit responsibilities, including leadership and oversight of nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, NARs, and TMAs).Contribute to the comfort and well-being of the resident, ensuring respectful and dignified treatment, administering Nursing professional services as needed. Make daily rounds to observe residents’ physical and psychosocial status, assisting in physician calls to report and document changes in condition. Ensure families are kept updated as necessary.Collaborate with the IDT (interdisciplinary team) to ensure adequate and appropriate flow of services.Supervise dining room activities, assisting residents with eating as needed. Maintain and complete all required documentation and charting on the computer or on forms in an accurate and timely manner according to policies and procedures.Support various other nursing responsibilities as needed.Job Specifications
Education, Experience and Credentials
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure in the State of Minnesota as an RN required.
• Experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible nursing experience preferred.
