Responsible for outpatient PICCs & ports (lab draws, dressing changings and flushes)

Schedule: Cath Lab & IR prep and recovery unit. Part-time RN position in Cath & IR department. Split Schedule: Week 1 & 3: Tuesday & Thursday 0700-1730. Week 2 & 4: Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 0700-1730. Call requirement. Must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.

The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
