+ The Nursing Education department is dedicated to providing ongoing training and education to all levels of nursing and support staff, including new nurses, experienced nurses, nurse aides, and other healthcare related staff. They focus on clinical skills development, best practices, and adherence to healthcare standards and policy. They facilitate learning through various methods like classroom instruction, simulations, precepting, and mentoring .
+ The RN (Nurse) Clinical Educator is an advanced practice nurse who leads the Clinical Education initiatives by partnering with the Director of Clinical Talent, Nursing Leadership, the Nurse Practice Council and staff nurses.
+ The RN Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs focused on procedural training in the OR, Cath Lab, and Endoscopy Procedure rooms.
+ This role ensures that nursing staff and procedural team members are competent in current best practices, technologies, and safety protocols to promote high-quality patient care.
+ This position collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence, through designing and implementing training programs for OR, Cath Lab and Endoscopy. Developing and delivering competency assessments, creating orientation programs for new staff as well as continuing education programs.
+ This position serves as a leader in clinical knowledge transfer and declinational experience by leading, educating and developing staff, department educators, preceptors and mentors throughout the system - assessing, designing, implementing, and evaluating; RN and Patient Care Tech Orientation, Nurse Residency, Student Nurse Clinical Experiences, and Ongoing Educational Needs, based upon current trends in Health care and the needs of the system.
+ They serve as a leader in clinical knowledge transfer and the educational experience by leading, educating, and developing, staff, department educators, preceptors, and mentors throughout the system.
+ The base annualized salary for this position is $90,771. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
+ This full-time position will require you to work 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday through Friday and is partial remote eligible.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
+ Master's degree within four (4) years of hire required.
+ 2-5 years OR experience
+ Five or more year's clinical experience in acute care preferred
+ Previous experience with evidence-based practice design and/or project management preferred
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
+ Current Indiana Registered Nurse license required
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
