Registered Nurse Drug and Alcohol Program (Part time)

Pyramid Healthcare’s Detox and Residential Treatment Center in Hammonton, NJ provides a trauma-informed, person-centered treatment model for men and women in search of meaningful, long-term recovery. In addition to evidence-based treatment, clients participate in scheduled groups, individual counseling and a variety of elective groups that support their transition to a sober lifestyle in an expansive setting. Pyramid Healthcare’s detox program ensures a safe, medically-supervised withdrawal from alcohol and other substances in a comfortable, non-hospital setting. Our adult residential rehab program provides a variable length of stay based on personalized, clinically-driven treatment plans.

Pay Rate:

$33.00/hour - $43.00/hour  before differentials (based on experience)!

 

Shift: 

7:00am - 7:00pm 

7:00pm - 7:00am

Our Nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc. No catheters No I/Vs/Ports/Midlines Our Nurses are not responsible for blood draws (we contract with a national lab who does them) There are minimal physical requirements for our Nursing positions: No heavy lifting, No long periods of standing/walking, etc. No paper MAR's - - we have active eMAR

Principal Results Expected:

Properly instructs and guides chemical dependency technicians and LPN’s in client care responsibilities and assignments. Orientation of new employees to unit specific policies and procedures. Offer positive constructive feedback and direction to students/interns on the unit. Conveys accurate information in supportive and courteous manner to unit nursing and tech staff. Seeks out supervision and direction from physician. Completion of nursing assessments, transfers, discharges, treatment plans, progress notes, medication reconciliation, medication administration, and vitals. Knowledge of detox protocols. Assist medical doctor as needed, provide medical lectures. Report any unusual occurrences to nurse supervisor/program director promptly. Ensure room assignments are appropriate to clients’ needs. Attend and actively participate in departmental staff meetings. Maintain medical equipment in proper working order. Maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries. Other duties as assigned.
