Education and Training:
Current licensure to practice Professional Nursing in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania and satisfactory completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant Course
Experience and Knowledge: Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:
RNFA: 2 years employment experience as a surgical first assistant
Trauma Certification (may be obtained within first 6 months of employment)
***Trauma on call requires 15 min response time. In house on call room available***
Physical Demands and Sensory Requirements:
Moderate physical effort: lift/carry up to 10-30 lbs.
Mostly standing/walking
Occasional kneeling/crouching
Frequent reaching
Frequently moves/lifts equipment/supplies
Manual dexterity
Occasional stooping/bending
Frequently handles/lifts/pushes patients
Hearing sensitivity bilaterally within normal limits (0-24 db HL) (aided/non-aided)
Visual acuity of 20/60 in at least one eye (with/without correction)
Ability to communicate verbally
