  Providing direct care to patients dealing with illnesses, injuries, or surgeries. Admitting and monitoring patients. Administering medications. Managing medical equipment. Coordinating healthcare plans with medical professionals. Educating patients on surgical procedures. Conducting pre-op assessments. Gathering medical information. Reviewing patient history. Performing a basic physical exam. Ensuring that all the required procedures are followed prior to the surgery.
