The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specializes in Medical-Surgical and Neuroscience critical care. The ICU nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care in critical situations, as well as collaborating with healthcare teams, administering treatments, and staying up-to-date on evidence-based practice. Required: + Graduate of an accredited associate degree program + A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment. Preferred: + Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree + Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017. Licensure/Certification Requirements Required: + Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse + Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: + Certification in a specialty area Critical Care Nursing + ACLS required within 1 year Hourly Rate Range $33.00 - $46.02
