Here, patients find a compassionate environment and hope for a longer, healthier life.Essential Duties:As a Clinical Nurse II, you will perform a variety of tasks specific to the needs of the patient population in the CTC Infusion Center, including the following.Infuse IV medications to patients and tracking vital signsPerforming procedures such as IV placement, phlebotomy, and medication administration via peripheral infusion device as ordered by licensed physician or licensed practitionerAssess patients for adverse reaction and complications, document in TeleResultsMaintains competency skills including the ability to deliver care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds.Identify the ability of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patients to understand direction/instructions and give consent
QualificationsQualifications:Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program requiredBSN preferredLicense/Certification:Current, unrestricted California RN license requiredBLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross requiredExperience:A minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience requiredProficiency in infusion therapy requiredAmbulatory clinic nursing experience preferredCedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
