Work location: 850 Ed Hall Drive, Kaufman, TX 75142 Work hours: Full time, 36 hours a week. Three 12 hour shifts with Rotating weekends Department highlights: + Number two ED in the THR system for Patient Experience + Received a commendation award for excellent maternal/neonatal care + Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments Here’s What You Need + Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or + Associate's Degree Nursing is required Or + Bachelor's Degree Nursing is preferred + 2 years of ER experience within Emergency department is strongly preferred + 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program is required + RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And + BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required And + CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days is required AndACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days is required And + NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days is required And + PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days is required Or + ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course 6 Months is required And + TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 12 Months is required + A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
