Registered Nurse Manager - Nursing Administration - 40 Hours - Day Shift
REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER - NURSING ADMINISTRATION - 40 HOURS - DAY SHIFT Full Time Benefit Eligible Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM GENERAL SUMMARY: + Manages activities, workflow and nursing resources for one or more assigned nursing units. + Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s). + Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s). + Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s). + Develops and maintains quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s). + Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. + Ensures a high level of associate, patient and physician satisfaction. + Conducts hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED + Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. + Bachelor's Degree preferred. + Previous bedside nursing experience preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURES REQUIRED + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
