New Graduates 

New registered nurse (RN) graduates’ benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. The program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment, and promotes professional development. 

Ball Memorial’s Obstetrics and Postpartum unit is a level III department with in-house OB onsite. This unit has 4 OBED beds, 8 Labor beds, 2 ORs, and 16 postpartum beds. We specialize in the care patients that are full obstetric patients over 20 weeks, postpartum patients up to 6 weeks, and newborn care. Join our close knit, outstanding team today. Some hospital nursing is a bonus, good time management and critical thinking skills.

 

This newly remodeled, 25 private bed unit, is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care. On the Medical Stroke Unit, we use a multidisciplinary team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and secretarial support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of acutely ill medical/surgical patients, with a primary focus on patients effected by strokes. We pride ourselves on our strong partnership and high-quality care we deliver to our patients.
