Registered Nurse - Medicine Unit 1 - C3 (Full-time night shifts)

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for Cornell 3- our MedSurg Unit! This is a full-time night shift position (12 hour) in Charlottesville, VA.

Up to 20k Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates!

Cornell 3:  Cornell 3 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population with a specialty in post-op Bariatric Surgeries (Gastric Sleeves and Bypass), Abdominal Surgeries (Colon Resections, Ostomy Creation, plastic), Reconstructive Surgeries (Breast Reconstruction), Gyn Surgeries (Hysterectomy and Myomectomy), and Wound Care (Ostomy Care and Wound vacs). From our experienced team of providers, nurses and dietitians, we combine the resources of a major medical center with the compassionate, individualized care found in a community hospital. Cornell 3 has a 1 to 5 or 6 ratios depending on acuity and additional support from Resource Nurses, Patient care Technicians and their leadership team of Unit Coordinators and Nurse Managers.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing ProgramBSN or MSN preferred.Registered Nurse LicenseStudents in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing LicenseBLS Required within 90 days of hire.
