**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 40 hours per week
+ Monday – Friday
+ Day shifts (8:00am - 5:30pm)
+ Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** Our **Neurology Clinic** treats a variety of conditions, including muscle weakness, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, neuropathy, and movement disorders. Our clinic is staffed by board-certified and board-eligible neurologists, who offer neurodiagnostic services including EEGs, EMGs, evoked potentials, and autonomic nervous system testing. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ Provide personalized care to patients experiencing a broad array of behavioral and neurologic conditions
+ Work closely with other clinic RNs to support the needs of our general neurology patients
+ Provide compassionate care on a team that always puts their patients first **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Work alongside a team of board-certified neurologists and medical support staff
+ Regularly work with patients who have experienced neurologic, physical, and behavioral changes after receiving a Huntington’s diagnosis, as well as other neurological diagnoses
+ Support our providers during routine clinic assessments
+ Support our patients between clinical appointments
+ Educate patients and their families on ongoing healthcare needs
+ Answer and triage patient calls and MyChart messages
+ Obtain medical records and test results for providers
+ Manage prior authorizations and outgoing referrals
+ Provide nursing advice in person, via phone, and via telehealth **REQUIREMENTS**
+ 2 years of medical-surgical, ambulatory, or neurology nursing experience
+ Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
