**2025 Spring START Nurse Residency Program** **_Applications will be considered for our March 2025 Cohort._** ***READ THIS ENTIRE POSTING FOR DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS*** **START Program Overview:** The START Nurse Residency program is the recipient of the Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) with Distinction designation from the ANCC. Our next START cohort will begin in March 2025 **.** Application review and interviews will not take place until the week of 1/20/25 **.** **Position Requirements:** + Registered Nurse with less than 1 year of experience or a recent graduate of an accredited nursing program + GPA 3.0 or greater + BSN is strongly preferred + If hired, we must be able to verify your Illinois RN license at least 2 weeks before the start date. **How To Apply** 1. Include your GPA on the application. **START Portfolio:** If you are selected as a prospective candidate, a member of the Human Resources department will contact you via email to submit a portfolio for review. The portfolio requirements may include: 500-word essay on why you should be chosen for the START Nurse Residency program, academic credentials/transcripts, and letters of recommendation from clinical instructors.
