Registered Nurse - Nurse Educator

Typically will work Monday - Friday. Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, or $30-$38.46/hour Responsibilities + Teach the Medication Administration, Tube Feeding, Diabetic Care and Colostomy Care classes to DSP's + Maintain a caseload of RN oversight at houses + Provide in-service training as needed + Provide nursing orientation + Coordinate nurses meeting with assistance of the Nursing Administrator + Provide support and assistance to residential nurses in team at the direction of the Nursing Administrator + Provide Medical perspective for other members of team + Serve as a resource person on all health regulations, administrative directives and nursing best practices + Assist with the development of new policies and procedures in coordination with the Nursing Administrator Qualifications Must be a Registered Nurse with a New York State License.
