In collaboration with oncologist, attending physician and the health care team the Oncology Register Nurse supports and cares for patients diagnosed with cancer. They approach patients with empathy and care; administer chemotherapy treatments; educate patients about their diseases; and manage illness and cancer-related symptoms.

 

Work Schedule: 0 FTE /Monday through Friday, 8 hr shifts

 

Required Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Wisconsin Oncology Nursing Society: ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate; or OCN Oncology nursing experience  Chemotherapy administration Basic Life Support (BLS) 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

ONC preferred
