Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As an RN in the Operating Room, you will provide direct patient care and addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical O.R. environment. 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicate with surgeons and anesthesiologists continuously and as needed about patient conditionsAssist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory, Participate in performance improvement activitiesAssess the operating room for equipment functioning and readinessObtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are metMonitor, position and assist patients during procedures
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Minimum Associate's Degree in NursingBachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred

License/Certification Requirements:

Current CA RN licenseBLS through the American Heart AssociationCNOR, preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of OR experienceThree (3) years of OR experience, strongly preferred
