Summary

Position Summary: Perioperative Registered Nurse individualizes plans of care to coordinate and deliver safe and age-appropriate care to patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures within the Surgical Services Departments. Also functions as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team. Works under the direct supervision and direction of the Nurse Manager.   Education/Knowledge: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field   Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Maryland Registered Nurse License American Heart Association CPR Certification ACLS preferred, but required within 6 -12 months
